Aquilifer (Eagle bearer) 

The eagle bearer (in Latin aquilifer, derives from eagle and literally "he who carries the eagle" also recognized as "the eagle himself") was the soldier responsible for carrying the eagle of the Roman legions into battle, which all soldiers had to protect even at the cost of their lives. The eagle was in fact the most precious thing the legion had and its loss was considered a terrible misfortune. He was part of that small group of sub-officers called principals

Resin bust, 1/10 scale, hand painted with oil and acrylic colors in about 30 hours of work

Measurements: wooden base mm 65x65 h 60; bust 80 mm height; 75 mm width; total height 140 mm
