Bandini Pietà or Florentine Pietà by Michelangelo.
This is a faithful reproduction of Pietà Bandini, intended by Michelangelo as his own funerary monument, realized between 1547 and 1555, when the artist decide to destroy it. Sculpted by Michelangelo half a century after his Vatican Pietà, this masterpiece was intended for the artist's own funerary chapelin the roman Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Today is preserved in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence
